on april 27th,2016, in addis ababa, capital of ethiopia, tbea and ethiopian electric power corporation (eepco) signed the epc contract of the power transmission and distribution supporting project for two industrial parks, bleomycin- lemmy and jilintuo, near the capital of ethiopia.
it is reported that this is another epc project after tbea undertaking the gibeiii - addis ababa 400 kilometers uhv power transmission and distribution epc project of in 2009.
during construction, it will not only create many job opportunities for ethiopia but also export chinese standards and technologies to ethiopia through talents training and technology transfer. after completion, it will supply stable and reliable power to the two industrial parks to promote industrialization process, and solve the problem of power supply shortage for residents around the industrial parks.
representative from tbea said that the company would spare no effort to support the power construction and social economic development of ethiopia with tbea’s quality products, efficient performance and reliable services.
